Club Membership will be valid from now up until the next Annual General Meeting of the club, which will be in September 2010, the latest membership categories (below) and charges (right) will apply:
Membership renewal
We wish to inform you that the next "Annual General Meeting" of Littleport leisure will take place in September 2010 where all members are welcome to attend.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that memberships are due for renewal immediately following the A.G.M.; the membership rates effective from September 2009 are shown in the menu (right):
*Save Money with direct debit payment
If you are interested in saving money, please enquire about paying your membership by Direct Debit. £2.00 is deducted from every member's fee, if they pay by this method.
Family Membership Adults (£) and all children: half normal price (i.e. child/children £ instead of £ 6-15yrs, and £ instead of £ 16 & 17yrs). Please note that Family membership will only be allowed if the whole family i.e. mother, father and child/children join at the same time. Family Membership does not apply to adults joining as social members Club Rules (Effective from April 2000).
Membership
1. Full Membership of the Club is open to all persons without age limit. 2. Social Membership is available to persons within the age group of 18 to 59. 3. Annual Membership subscription is due on the day following the Annual General Meeting. 4. If a member fails to pay their subscription within 60 days of the due date, the Committee shall be entitled to terminate membership of that person without further notice. 5. Anyone who resigns their membership without valid reason, or has had their membership terminated, shall not be able to use the Club for a period of one year. 6. No member in arrears shall be permitted to use the facilities of the Club. 7. No member in arrears may be signed in as a guest. 8. A membership card will be issued and must be shown on each visit to the Club. 9. Temporary Membership is available of the following conditions:
- Can only be issued to those who are not in normal travelling distance, unless issued through any promotional scheme that is operating at the time of application.
- Suspend all rights to sign in guests, membership is to that person only.
Guests
1. Any member shall be entitled to introduce guests to the Club. 2. A member may introduce to the Club premises not more than three guests at any one time. 3. An entrance fee is payable by all guests. Guests are only allowed on the premises upon payment of the applicable entrance fee. 4. Each guest shall, together with the member introducing the guest, sign their name in the Visitors Book kept on the Club premises for that purpose. Members must accompany their guests throughout the period of their visit to the Club premises.
Bar facilities
1. No person under the age of 18 shall be permitted to purchase alcohol. 2. Members between the age of 16 to 18 are allowed in the bar area unaccompanied. 3. Members up to the age of 18 are not allowed to sign in guests to accompany them in the bar. 4. Members up to the age of 16 are allowed in the bar area providing:
- This person has taken part in an organised activity and remains supervised for the consumption of refreshments, or
- This person is accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- The Club reserves the right to restrict the use of the Balcony Bar/Function Room when booked for specific events/ entertainment.
Family entertainment – Ticket events
1. Tickets must be purchased in the name of the person who is attending. 2. Tickets are not transferable. 3. Every person attending must have a valid ticket. 4. Tickets for junior members/guest can only be purchased by an adult member. 5. Members aged 16 to 18 can purchase their own ticket but cannot purchase tickets for any other member or guest.
General use of facilities
1. Full Membership entitles a person to pre-book courts, to take part in organised activities, or to use the bar facilities as stated in Item 3 of the Club Rules. 2. Social Membership entitles a person to use the bar facilities during bar opening times. Clarification of Social Membership entitlement is as follows: 3. Should a Social Member wish to take part in a sport, that member will have the option to increase their subscription to Full Membership or to pay the applicable fee for the 'Use of Sports Facilities'. 4. Persons under the age of 15 are not permitted to use the facilities in the Fitness Room if unsupervised. 5. Persons under the age of 16 are not allowed on the premises after 6.00 p.m. if unaccompanied by an adult or if not taking part in an organised activity. 6. Apart from your own children, an adult can only act as guardian for a maximum of two junior members/guests.
- Social Membership allows a person: a. To purchase drink or food. b. To attend functions that are open to members. c. To be able to participate in general bar activities, i.e. Quiz Nights.
- Social Membership does not allow a person to: a. To part in any sport. b. To take part in any activity that takes place outside the bar area. c. To take part in any prearranged class including any dance classes. d. To take part in any organised bar sport i.e. Darts, Pool or Dominoes Leagues.
Affiliated Clubs
1. Members of an affiliated club have use of the facilities only during the time the affiliated club booking takes place. Please refer to the separate Affiliated Club Rules for further details relating to affiliation.
Gaming machines / Pool table
1. The Lottery King machine may only be used by persons aged 16 or over. 2. The jackpot gaming machines may only be used by persons aged 18 or over. 3. The pool table may be used by all member age groups with the following condition to persons under the age of 14: Persons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at the table at all times.
